We all go through changes in our life. To make the adjustment easier, it may help to book a one-time session to learn more about resilience and wellness tools that can help you. Maybe you just moved to a new city, have a new job, or have recently become single.
Self-Compassion During Hard Times
Not all transitions to go through oh welcome or planned. It might be helpful to get support to help you build your wellness toolkit if you’re experiencing a crisis or a hard time including this pandemic. In the single session, I’ll provide you with tools to build resilience, practice self compassion and learn some coping strategies to help you get through this difficult time.
One of the hardest things we will ever go through is the loss of someone we love, whether that it is a miscarriage or stillborn loss, a child, a partner or parent. The trauma that is connected to this pain can be rooted in your body. In this one-time session, Vania can support you with some resources and supports to help you take care of you during this time of grief. The session will look at mindfulness, self-compassionate and somatic exercises to help you take care of yourself.
*Each single session is 90 minutes and $140. Of course, there is always the option to get ongoing support and that would be negotiated between us.
Vania Sukola is a Registered Psychotherapist. For over 20 years, Vania has been providing support to women who have experienced trauma due to violence and abuse. In 2015, Vania started a private practice focusing primarily on perinatal mental health, especially birth trauma, the transition into parenthood, and helping others to build resilience. As a Feminist Therapist, Vania believes you are the expert in your life, and she works from an trauma-informed anti-oppression framework. Vania is honoured to support you to live the life that you love. She is also a mother to 2 young children and loves chocolate. There is always room for chocolate.
